Yup, can definitely happen. I had a not so minor one that lasted about 6 weeks (12 days in the hospital) - liquid diet for several weeks, very uncomfortable but both the baby and I were fine. Healthy baby boy who is now 21 months old!
Though I have a perm ileo, my friend with a j-pouch had a blockage every weekend from about 16weeks to 24 weeks (went to ER about half of those times) and then everything was fine. It is thought to be adhesions compressing the intestine as the stomach begins to grow.
Its no fun, but will most likely not cause issues long term.

Glad it isn't too unbearable. Just watch what you eat if you hit a patch with symptoms and be sure to keep up your fluids. Maybe even stop Immodium/Lomotil if you take either for a while until you feel the symptoms are well gone...

What do the docs do for blockages while pregnant?

A few things can be done depending on how severe the blockage is...
The ER docs didn't want to give me pain killers but once the OBs were called in they said morphine was fine. It didn't help me much so I stopped it after two doses, but it is okay short term if needed.
IV Fluids and bowel rest
In my case since I have an ileo and they believed the obstruction to be near the end where the stoma protrudes from the belly my CR surgeon put a foley catheter tube into the stoma opening and held the obstruction open. We left the catheter in until it fell out on it's own and waited a day or two. By that time the obstruction had cleared, probably because my belly got big enough to snap the adhesion.
In really severe cases, surgery might be considered, but the OBs want to do that before 24 weeks if it needs to be done.
