Maca Root

Has anyone tried Maca Root? It's supposed to help boost energy, sexual function and desire, as well as some other things I know many of us suffer from after these surgeries. Just curious :-) Thanks!

I bought some the other day, haven't started taking them yet. I wanted to wait until the weekend to start something new to see if there were any adverse effects. Will follow up and let you know of any changes!

Does it have hormones in it? I'm in too much pain now, for in door sports, but this sounds like a wonder drug. Please post back results if you try it. Thanks

Nope, no hormones. It has vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids...sounds good to me! I'm sorry you're still in so much pain :-( I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Daisy,
I looked it up and it looks like a totally white turnip. I'm thinking about trying it, after I feel better. Thanks for your concern.

I have been trying the Maca for about one month, it was increasing the number of stools a day. Instead of 4 or 5 I was having about 8 a day. I have only been taking it now two or three times a week because of that, dont know if it will help this way.
