When adding new things to your diet just do it in small quantities at first and one at a time so you know what caused an issue if one crops up. I eat nuts, popcorn, salads, veggies etc. Matter of fact I was blocked over the weekend and I have no idea what caused it as I have none of the above mentioned foods. Go for it! Just proceed slowly and cautiously. You will become more confident over time.

I eat anything I want, and it is nice because when people are cooking for me and ask about restrictions IO can list things I just don't like and they think it's medical...not that I'm picky, hehehe. I hear mushrooms are bad for obstructions and I don't like them so all the better. I don't pay attention to my output. Life is too short and I'm in this for the long haul. I'm sensitive to dairy so I don't usually eat it when we eat out.
