OK, it doesn't really matter if I'm home or in the car and it starts but I'm going back to work next week and I'm a dental hygienist so my patients head and ear is right by where my stoma is. Well, I don't think I can pass it off as my stomach growling--at least it doesn't stink like a regular fart Smiler But has anyone had any luck with any kind of gas reducing stuff? For the hunters, it started going off tonight and my husband said it sounded like a buck grunt, I won't be needing to take that into the field this hunting season I have a built in buck grunt-ha ha!!!

not sure how long ago you had surgery but it should start to go away not completely but not so much if not just try gas X and your typcial over the counter stuff thats what I did and it worked for the most part.

kinda funny that you say that I went to see my denist and bam my bag was going nuts with fart noise right after one of my surgerys I had to say why because I did'nt want them to think I was a pig lol.

It's been a little over 3 weeks and it has definitely calmed down now. I've been eating thickening stuff so I haven't had any "farts" at work this week. I can only imagine my patients face if it did, oh well laughter is the best medicine!

My stoma makes noise in the morning for the first couple of hours and then seems to stop. The problem is we have a morning muster at work and about 20 of us pack into a 20x15 room, pretty much a nightmare scenario. Today it just made one quick noise and no one noticed but I just know it's going to happen soon. What am I supposed to say when everyone looks at me? Maybe I should talk to my supervisors and see if I can stand outside the door some and look in.
