I think I finally figured out how to get longer wear out of my wafer. I was using adapt paste and a 2pc Hollister wafer and only getting about 2 days usuage. When my Hollister start up kit arrived it came with 2 Adapt barrier rings, so on my last change I figured what the heck I will give one of them a try, and guess what I am now on my 4th day and it doesn't appear that the stool is leaking under the wafer like it was before....Yea happy times right now. Just thought I would post this incase someone is having leaking, or short wear time issues and have not tried this route yet, as it appears to be working so far for me (knock on wood).

Hey, that's great!! Have you tried the extended wear Hollister wafer? That's what I'm using now and I've been doing 4 days and I might try for 5 now.

Thanks Chris for posting this. I started having the leakage problem as well just when you had posted 1st time. I also have the start up kit that Hollister sent. Next time, I will try that as well.

I have the extended wear wafers, but the way my stoma is the stool seams to always get under the seal and my skin is pretty raw in the areas around the stoma.
I ordered some convex adapt rings hoping that they work even better then what the flat rings did, I will let you know how they work out for me when I get them |
