Well, we had our visit today! And boy, was it exciting! I'm so hopeful!!!

She started Mom on Imodium, Metamucil (twice a day), switched her from the Gatorade to Powerade or Pedialyte and has ordered labwork to see where her electrolytes/iron levels are!

And she mentioned that the change in her Synthroid may have caused her recent bowel issues...and now that I think of it, her meds were changed about 6 months ago...near the time when Mom started to have such a difficult time. Goodness!
