Just read on shaz's ostomy site somebody posted that convatec has just made available the natura surfit moldable in either the convex or the new flat barrier.

Cool! I wish they had them when I had my loop!

Very cool. I wish I hadn't just ordered a new batch of supplies. I may contact them to see if I can try the product anyway. That would have been good to use right after my stoma was new. I still have some issues with weeping skin and breakdown if I'm not careful. Oh, I can't wait for TAKEDOWN!!!!!

Funny, I thought they had the flat ones before the convex ones. Either way, I heartily recommend these wafers.

I think I could probably manage without the convexity now but they don't do them with the adhesive coupling, which is a great shame because that means I can't mix"n"match them with my favourite Coloplast Easiflex bags.
Oh well, just have to keep using the convex ones for now. One glass of red wine per day is good for the heart..... it's just that mine's a big heart so I need a very big glass!!!! D-| Cheers! |
