Just wondering from other ostomates what limitations they have if any to working out. Would P90X workouts, lifting, yoga all still be on the table? I've got a friend that wants me to do a tough mudder with him next year so I've already accepted and laid down the gauntlet. Can you see any reasons why I wouldn't be able to. http://www.spillingmyguts.net http://online.ccfa.org/site/TR...=personal&fr_id=3179 http://www.facebook.com/pages/...248335972119?sk=wall Diagnosed with UC - 10/2003 J-pouch created - 06/23/09 Takedown - 09/15/2009 Diagnosed with chronic pouchitis - 8/2011 Perm ileostomy - 12/13/2011

You can do it! Start slow and gradually increase! I too have a tough mudder on the post take down "to do" list! Good luck! Mark

Tiki, I don't remember whether I answered this on the other post but my only limitation would be a pit-stop at my Doctor's office to get a green light from him and then to start out slowly, build up and make sure you stay very hydrated and have sufficient nutrition. Good luck and go for it Sharon It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....

I think you can definitely, You just start doing it first then automatically you will able to do it or else you wouldn't get comfortable if you wouldn't do it one day, it will become your habit soon!!
