I almost feel guilty for posting this, I called off of work today because I feel so good and the fall weather and the leaves are so colorfull, my favorite time of the year. There were so many days that I called off of work because of issues with the jpouch, now with the permanent ileostomy that never happens unless I'm normal sick like the flu or something like that. I'll take a ride on the motorcycle and do some things around the house.

Being a Mom, I don't get to call in "sick" or in this case "well" but I did take a long walk with my son including walking through the falling leaves which he loved!

What a great post! Yes, I do think you deserve to have a day off to celebrate your good health. We too often think the only time we're allowed to take a day off is when we are sick, but sometimes it's nice to take time out just to stop and smell the roses.

I took this week off cause the kids have fall break. Took the kids to the zoo and didn't have to look for the nearest toilet
