Did any of you guys get an open sore from the bar that was put under the stoma to keep it elevated? I had my surgery on 10/31/08 and I still have the open sore. I went to the doctor on Monday to get the 2nd surgery scheduled. And I still have the sore. They told me to put some foam on it and to use a flexable wafer. I also had sharp pains where the stoma site is. It actually feels like someone shot me and I can feel it in the back. I have never been shot before but ti has that stinging sensation that is unbareable. I am wondering if I have to change my bag more often. Right now they are lasting like a week. And when I change them after a week it hurst sometimes. I have tried using those barrier wipes and it seams that I loose adheasive after a day when I use them. Help. I only have this thing for like a few weeks but its driving me nuts.
