I was at the Yankee -Sox game Thursday with my son/his pal for his birthday. Had to empty pouch-quite full and when I went to the men's room, had limited options...Despite being in box seats-Men's rooms at games are a challenge (though Bob Uecker Upper Deck seat bathrooms are the worst) ..-was not gonna sit on that nasty-urine drenched seat lazy fans had left for me.., not gonna kneel and empty pouch with my knees on the skeevy floor,...what to do, what to do,,,,,,,,,, had a zip-lock bag in my pocket from the peanuts we brought along, emptied pouch into zip-lock, closed, dropped in toilet, wiped end of pouch with TP, flushed ziplock/TP down (stadium toilets have super strong suction)-no muss, no fuss-

Going to carry a couple of zip-locks around from now on- easier in a business suit, too...

Dear Coach,

Yep, those zip-lock bags are great! As many people do, I'm sure, I use one every time I change my appliance (or just the bag), to dump EVERYTHING involved in a change into. Really seals out the odor.

Classic story Cool
Question: how do eating peanuts work for you with the ostomy? I was at the Colts game and was dying for some peanuts...
Thanks
David

Coach,

I had a similar situation at an Eagles game last year. Full bag nasty toilet, so I did the "old lean and drop". I leaned forward and let the bag empty standing up. I was fortunate enough to have none of it splash back up on me (could never soil my sacred Jerome Brown 99 Eagles jersy!).

I've had to do this a few other times; it works as long as the stool isn't too thick. But I may take your advice and bring a bag the next time I’m at a game.

You may want to drop the bag in the garbage as it could possibly clog the toilet causing it to overflow.

The peanuts were for my son and his friend -as any Dad knows you are a 'caddy', a chauffeur, a butler, etc.
Mila-if I was not at Yankee stadium, I may not have flushed the ziplock, their black-hole/hoover vacuum-strength toilets had no problem. as to dumoing in a trash can, it was waaay across the room, & the bathrooms at a game smell bad enough by the 8th inning, besides the embarassment of getting a sloshy ziplock through a room full of guys waiting to 'go' at a Yanks-Sox game (A Sweep by the way!!!)
..............not exactly Alan Alda-warm/fuzzy types in there-LOL

Bill-I was in shorts-it was a brutally hot/humid day, and feared the dreaded splash-back on my legs AND shirt;-No jersey on, I was in my 2000 'Three-peat' Shirt.
