Well I've got my kock pouch now and have some ileo supplies left. I do intend to donate the majority to the local home health care or ET nurses if I can find one who can use them. HOWEVER I have a bunch of eakin seals left over - 2 full boxes. They were given to me by a friend as a gift when my insurance wasn't paying for my ileostomy supplies. I would love to give them to someone or divide them between a few people who's insurance does not pay (or pays very little) because they are so expensive. Please let me know.

katie: When I was done with all my supplies, I donated the left overs to a local ostomy supply store. They had a bunch of homeless people in the area who needed the supplies and came in often for free supplies. See if a local medical supply store or ET nurse has any situations like that if you can't find someone here to take them.

Good luck, Pam

I have donated my extra supplies to the local wound clinic. They often get people in there that need supplies and don't have the insurance to pay for them. It is where our ET nurse consults as well.

I donated mine to Friends of Ostomates Worldwide (www.fowusa.org). They send supplies to people all over the world.

I gave my extra supplies (all the regular wafters, etc, since I had to switch to the convex ones after step 2) to my surgeon's office. They give them out to patients who don't have insurance coverage.
