It will take a while to but should thicken naturally as your ileum learns to take on some of the colon's job or absorbing water. You could try Metamucil wafers as lots of people here have very good results from taking them, but check with your doctor first because it is still early days for you yet.

I'm sure there will be others along soon to offer you some other ideas.

Take care Smiler

Cool Shell Cool

One glass of red wine per day is good for the heart..... it's just that mine's a big heart so I need a very big glass!!!! D-| Cheers! Wink

Jubbs,
I'm 8 weeks out today, and a sure thing for me is tortilla chips.

My favorite are the Tostito's brand lime flavored- they're AWESOME!

Shell is right, though- you're WAY early in the game.

Are you having leakage problems?

I actually prefer it to be more on the liquid side- it's WAY easier to empty/clean up!

Hi

All of the above are right-you are early in this-I was freaking too.

Try apple pectin capsules-they thicken things up and you don't feel them exiting the stoma.
try 2 at a time.

Of course immodium works -can make your skin and eyes dry.

Good luck.
