Looking for ileostomy supplies...Go ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
Hey all. New ostomate here. Currently my insurance plan does not cover ostomy supplies which stinks worse than a full pouch and I am currently one of the millions of unemployed. However I am a J-pouch candidate and only plan on having the stoma for 4 or 5 more months so I don't need a huge supply. But if anyone has extras or supplies they don't need anymore please contact me so we can make a deal. Thanks.

I have a few wafers and bags that I won't use. Send me a mailing address. I know they are expensive.

I donated all of my left over supplies to a non-profit group in Florida that gives them to people in the U.S. who are unemployed and/or don't have insurance. If you need supplies PM me, if you qualify I think you might have to pay for the shipping to you. If you want to donate supplies let me know as well. Plus it is tax deductible, supply cost and shipping to send to FL, as they are a 503(c)3 non-profit. ~~~~~ You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails ~~~~~

Have a look at www.ostogroup.org They send supplies to those without insurance and all they ask is the price of postage. Good luck. I'm not a complete idiot - some parts of me are missing!

That's the place I donated all of my left over supplies to. I checked out several places and they appeared to have the best program.
