How to diagnose?

I had my jpouch surgery about 7 months ago and my ileo reversal 4 months ago. The past week I had been having to empty my pouch a lot more often. Take last night for example, I was on a date and i had to go once during dinner, once before the movie, once during the movie and once after the movie- all within 3 hours. I used to only go about 7 times a day, until now. I have noticed with this new frequency that when I wipe myself the TP is a maroon color.. I am not sure if it is blood or what... but I have noticed. I also have been having a lot of pouch noises lately.. Is that pouchitis? These are the only 3 symptoms I have noticed, but I dont know if I need to be concerned or not. What do you think?

Definitely could be pouchitis, based on your symptoms. However, bleeding is usually associated with cuffitis, which is inflammation of the retained rectal cuff. Symptoms are otherwise pretty much the same. Treatment is different though. If you have cuffitis, your symptoms may improve initially with antibiotics (did for me), but would return when you stop. Treatment for cuffitis is mesalamine or hydrocortisone suppositories.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.
