Just curious of some other dosages. I pretty sure I'm having my first round with pouchitis. I have flagyl from my old maitenance dose during UC. I'm not asking any one to be my doctor, I know every one is different and there is alot of factors that go into prescribing a medicine. I am trying to get a hold of my doctor but it is Saturday, so in the mean time I figured I would ask around. Thanks for any input.

For pouchitis, 500 mg. twice a day, is pretty standard for Flagyl.

My standard script is 250mg three times a day.

Thank you. I've been taking 250mg three times daily also. I am contacting the Doc today because the cramps still havent got any better

250mg three times a day is what seems to be cited in most of the articles I've read.
