Hi Rebecca,
If you replied to the email notification rather than the Private Message from this site then Jan won't have received your replies. You need to open up your Private Messages on this site to be able to respond. The email you got was just a notification that you had a PM. I'm sure that Jan will see this though and will respond soon. Take care One glass of red wine per day is good for the heart..... it's just that mine's a big heart so I need a very big glass!!!! D-| Cheers! |

Don't worry Rebecca, I'm sure Jan will see your replies. It takes a bit to learn the ropes around message boards if you've never used one. What you see, everyone else can read besides your private messages.
I think instead of "e-mail" you mean "post"; that is what you wrote after Jan's most recent reply to you. If you go to the forum page for pouchitis, you can see the little light bulb lit up. That means there are new posts since the last time you logged in. |

Hi Rebecca. At first I was afraid you had sent me a private message that I missed somehow, but I see that it was a reply to a post. I have replied to that.
Replies cannot be summoned unfortunately, and it basically has to wait until the person logs on and looks through the threads on each forum. If you would like someone to actually get an email notification of a message, you need to send a private message. The message will be in the personal section of this website, but an email notification will be sent to the recipient. Plus, it will be a private discussion and not open to public view or comment. To send a private message, just click on the screen name above a member's picture in a post and click on Invite_____to a Private Topic in the drop down menu that appears. Good luck!! Jan Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass. |
