I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. I am having problems with my rectal stump with itching. I am cleaning the area well. Using desitan and calmoseptine ointment.
I used a mirror and looked at how my rectal stump looked. The area has small darker red spots. What could this be? Pouchitis?

Kinda lost on the "rectal stump" as that is usually what is left and connected to inside you.

If you mean your rectum or should i say "butt hole" Smiler than it could be a yeast infection or hemmohroids.

At least that is what it sounds like to me. I also get some pretty insane burning and itching from time to time and have determined it to be roids.

Best to you

Derek

Yeh... this is a problem all the time for me. I've found keeping it clean is best, try preperation H wipes (Costco) they really do help, them follow up with desitan...

Never thought I would spend so much time devoted to down there!

OK-every post I make today is saying, "Get a bidet", so I might as well-Get a bidet! My burning and itching is almost non-existant now! Coco sponsors the site and they have nice ones (I got mine off Ebay-BioBidet i3000, with warm water, for $200, free ship, easy install.

Hands down the best $200 I have ever spent in my life. Ever.
