I have a similar feeling in my pouch; it almost feels sore and more so when I'm standing up than when I'm sitting. I don't have any thoughts for you yet; I'm going to the doctor today but I'll let you know if he has any ideas. Just know that you aren't alone.

I've posted this before. I was on an antibiotic and still had achey pouch a few months back (May). Any how, I have achey pouch again. Is it possible to have an achey pouch and not have pouchitis? Because, I did start to eat ALOT of salads lately, and would this cause the pouch to ache--you know, diet related? It woke me up and kept me up last night. I have no other symptoms. Any response? Thanks all! Peace, Sue

New update, I am not nauseated and I am going to the b,room. But, that crazy achey pain is bad! And now, my stomach has some achieness(how the heck do you spell that ) Anyhow, does it sound like pouchitis to anyone? I am going to call the Dr tomorrow --I don't know why, but I hate calling him! I took a tylenol with codeine...Don't know what else to do! --Peace, Sue

Hi SCL, It seems that I always get achey type pain with pouchitis, in pouch and general abdo too. The Dr seems to think that this is unusual, but several folks here have mentioned it, so I guess it's not. I take paracetamol/codein tablets which make life bearable. Hope you feel better soon.

New update, called my Dr. he thinks it is "gynecological". I have been putting off my mamogram and ultrasound (because things haven't worked quite right, with all those steroids)...so I scheduled it for this Friday...we'll see, I still have the darn pain ...Thank you for listening, Peace, Sue
