I went to the Dr on Monday and he told me I had pouchitis and gave me a script for Rifaximin. By Tuesday, I had a headache but I could deal with it. By the time Thursday came around, I felt completely awful...BAD headache, Worse diarrhea, nausea, & severe dizziness. I stopped taking it on Friday but still am feeling the same even today. I read posts of people saying they had "flu-like" symptoms from the Rifaximin but is it still feasible to be having the side effects 3 days later? Thanks for any help!

I wonder if you may have a stricture and/or an abscess? You might ask to try Flagyl/Cipro. That's usually the first line unless you are allergic. It's good you stopped taking the Rifaxamin. I don't think those types of symptoms are a good combo.

The doc needs to to a digital (finger) rectal exam to detect a stricture.

I hope you find some resolution.
