I am wondering if anyone knows what is meant by the term morbid pouchitis

It means prolonged pouchitis, as opposed to acute, where you take antibiotics and it goes away. The term morbid does not distinguish between situations in which it is or is not controlled by long-term antibiotic usage (i.e., antibiotic-dependent or antibiotic-refractory), and therefore the term morbid pouchitis is not widely used in the literature.
