I have been diagnosed with fat and bile acid malabsorption. I have tired colestegel (bile acid sequestrant) but this made the steatorrhea much worse.. Is this because I have too much ileum removed? Thanks

Are they treating you with anything? I have a friend in Chicago that went to see an absorbtion specialist doctor. I didn't even know there was a specialist that did this.

I don't know what they do about it. Did they give you some sort of treatment?
