A clinical trial for treatment of pouchitis is looking for patients for a study.

The study is called the "Capture Study" ( Clotrimazole Adult and Pediatric Therapy Utilizing Retention Enemas}

It is to test the efficacy of topical clotrimazole therapy (delivered as an enema in high doses) in a prospective, double-blinded, placebo controlled clinical trial in pediatric and adult patients with active acute and chronic pouchitis.

The inclusion criteria are:
Age greater than or equal to 2 years
History of UC with colectomy and pouch
Pouchitis (7 out of possible 18 points suing the pouchitis index)
Patients may remain on existing meds.

The study is a open month study, with enemas nightly.

Primary outcome measure is the PDAI
Secondary outcomes measures include:
Safety data
Pharmacokinetic Data
Health Realated Quality of Life
