I have been dealing with chronic pouchitis for about a year now. I have been on and off (mostly on) antibiotics, both Cipro and Flagyl. At one point I was taking a probiotic that my GI gave me and while taking that I was able to get down to 1/2 pill of Cipro a day.
At the time I didn't think it was helping but now that I am back up to a full doze of Cipro and Flagyl I am sure that the TuZen was helping. I go to see my GI at the end of the month but I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or knows where I can buy some. I am also going to call my Dr's office to see what I can find out but sometimes I have found the people on this site know just as much (if not more, LOL). I personally have never heard of TuZen, but I did a quick google search and found a thread on the ibsgroup board that discusses it. Here's the link:
http://www.ibsgroup.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=90500 I hope that helps. Scott |
