I had my TD 3 1/2 month ago and I have now gone back to my former work out routine (2X a day during the work-week-5 days) I mostly run and lift no more than 150 lbs...I do really light crunches (50) etc. I feel great,no problems at all other than sometimes I see a little pink on my underpants...nothing massive or bright.....surgeon looked at me recently and said that cuff loked good no inflamation other than outer. Do any of you have this problem. Blood even if small freaks me out!

I haven't had that problem, but you can probably attribute it to any straining you do. If you strain on the toilet, you will probably notice the same thing. To be expected, and I wouldn't worry about it.

Oh - and I do get small amounts of blood periodically in the bathroom. Not a big deal. My surgeon attributes it to anal irritation.

Thanks. I figured it was anal irritation. I keep on going back to the surgeon but he says its all OK-no workout restrictions.

No one else out there having this?...
It seems like the work-out related bleeding goes away completely and when I incorporate something new to my workout it starts again. I started swimming and it came back. I actually felt a small drop going down I checked my underpants and it was pink...then red on the toiled paper when I went to wipe myself clean. (no bowel movement)..Then it just stopped. I keep thinking it could be the cuff. Has anyone with cuffitis had drops of blood actually trickle down without a bowel movement?? |

Mark,
You might try posting your latest question in the General Discussion area to generate more response. I imagine there are others who have had that happen - but I have not personally experienced it. "...it came to pass..." - I Thess. 3:4b (NASB) |
