I got nuetered  before I got the pouch. I used a bag of frozen peas as an ice pack  We threw the bag away after the weekend  . David Go Colts

One BIG suggestion; make sure to ask the doc. for lots of anasthesia down on the boys! Trust me on this one. My doc. didnt give enough and I kept telling him I could feel everything, so he tells me to just take a deep breath and that this was normal, but as soon as he cut the vas-deference on the right one, out went the lights. Long story short he gave me an extra dose of anashesia on the left one-never felt a thing. Ever since my surgery in '03, I have noticed that it takes more than the normal amount of pain meds to take affect (being 6'6' may have something to with it too).

Vasectomy should not be an issue. Mine was done directly through the scotum (ball sack). Should be no invasion with internal organs...
